Baby, it’s cold outside — and there is nothing more appealing than cuddling up by the fire in one of our plush robes, enjoying good food and perhaps wine or champagne! Enjoy a private night by the fire in our living room with the pocket doors drawn for an intimate night alone at the inn. We provide all the ambiance, food, and beverage… all you need to do is get comfy on the couch! We customize the appetizers and beverages per package. Let us take care of the perfect romantic night at the inn. (This package may also be enjoyed in your room.)

There is nothing like a Cape Charles sunset. Let us put together that perfect sunset celebration picnic basket. This package will include all the accoutrements you need to experience a very memorable sunset (we can’t guarantee the weather but we can guarantee this amazing basket of goodies!). Champagne, wine, or beer (or non-alcoholic beverages), along with a variety of appetizers are included. We will include the blanket, the basket, and goodies… all you need to do is sit back and enjoy!

Take a private tour of the gardens of Eyre Hall with the incredibly knowledgeable personal gardener, Laurie Klingel, of Appleseed Nurseries and Landscape. The garden at Eyre Hall is said to be the oldest continual garden in the Commonwealth. Amidst the extensive boxwood parterres, your senses will be overwhelmed by resplendent spring borders alive with hundreds of species of flowering shrubs, perennials, and bulbs. Ancient crepe myrtle stands sentry among gardens bursting with color. Hundreds of peonies light up the west side of the garden while dwarf English boxwood, over 200 years in age, reminds us that the gardens here have delighted many generations past and will persist for many generations to come. Can’t you almost smell the fragrances of the garden? This is a hidden treasure on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Picnic lunch included.

Cape Charles is home to the magnificent signature Palmer and Nicolas golf courses at Bay Creek Resort & Club, about 2 miles from the inn. Enjoy a round of golf for $85/person (take an additional $5 off if 60+) in the high season – April through October. Lower rates available in the off-season – November through March.

If you would like something special for your getaway, we will have a beautiful arrangement of fresh, seasonal flowers waiting in your room at arrival. We are required to collect 5% tax for this add-on. To ensure that we can provide this lovely touch for your getaway, 72 hours advance notice is necessary.

This package is designed for a group and you will be the only ones here at the Bay Haven Inn. Come with a few friends and take all 4 rooms.
